It's The Little Things That Count

This past weekend I was able to have a MUCH needed Girls Night Out, Michael was off at his Bucks Show getting into a bit of mischief so took the chance to head out with the girls.  We had a great night, even if everyone couldn't make it, those who did really made the most of it.  We had plenty (and I mean plenty) of cocktails, lots of yummy food and even had a little bit of dancing. But I did find that these feet aren't as use to the really high heels of today so after an hour of dancing my feet where ready to retire!

At the end of the night as I look back over the photos one thing that I really noticed was how much weight I have lost from my face!  My face shape has gone from a really round almost moon face to a slimmer heart shaped face.  It was something that I hadn't really noticed until I looked at the photos and thought .... "Hmmmm I really have changed"

If you compare a photo from earlier this year .....

You, well I, can really notice a difference!

And can I also just say .... Check Me Out .... Compare me here (where I wasn't even at my heaviest) ....

To here ... this is probably the first time in a LONG time that I've felt confident enough to ditch the "safe" LBD and wear something a little more funky and I felt FABULOUS! (Not to brag or anything) ;)

I'm really starting to feel that my months of being strict and working hard are paying off. And while I let my hair down a little over the weekend I'm not going to get down on myself for having a small gain ... I needed to have some time out ... especially now that we are 6 weeks away from the wedding and I have 6 weeks of being SUPER GOOD ahead of me!

Plus you will be proud, I didn't give into temptation!

The Rocky Road Cake they TRIED to tempt me with!
I had a delicious Sticky Date Pudding instead and enjoyed every mouth full!
